Dar es salaam: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) successfully implemented a volunteer medical project conducting open-heart surgeries for children in Dar es Salaam, United Republic of Tanzania. The initiative took place from September 4 to 11, 2026, and involved 20 volunteers from various medical specialties. According to Saudi Press Agency, during the campaign, KSrelief's volunteer medical team performed 29 open-heart surgeries, all of which were completed successfully. This project is part of Saudi Arabia's broader efforts to provide volunteer medical assistance through KSrelief, focusing on countries with significant needs.
