Lebanon: The Emergency Response Project for Cholera in Yemen, supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), provided medical services to 130 individuals from January 7 to 13. The initiative focuses on areas severely impacted by the epidemic, aiming to lower infection rates and contain the spread of cholera through preventive strategies.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the project includes deploying specialized medical teams to screen and monitor travelers at air and land entry points. Additionally, health facilities are supplied with cholera-specific medical supplies, such as antibiotics, protective equipment, and disinfectants, to enhance the effectiveness of the response efforts.

These activities are part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's continuous humanitarian and relief initiatives, executed through KSrelief, to bolster Yemen's health sector. The ultimate goal is to limit the spread of epidemics and communicable diseases, ensuring the health and safety of the Yemeni people.
