KSrelief and TVTC Forge Partnership to Enhance Training and Volunteer Efforts

Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) to boost cooperation and coordination in training and volunteer work. This strategic agreement is aimed at utilizing national expertise to support humanitarian and relief initiatives.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the MoU was formalized at the KSrelief headquarters in Riyadh. It was signed by Dr. Aqeel Al-Ghamdi, the Assistant Supervisor General for Planning and Development at KSrelief, and Dr. Adel Alzenedy, the Deputy Governor for Training at TVTC.

The agreement outlines several key areas of collaboration, including the exchange of expertise and knowledge, the implementation of training programs, and joint efforts in volunteer work by leveraging TVTC's resources and volunteer database. Notably, it allows TVTC volunteers to actively participate in KSrelief's initiatives.

A significant component of the MoU involves TVTC's role in preparing volunteers, ensuring they are equipped and ready to engage in KSrelief's volunteer programs beyond the borders of the Kingdom. It also emphasizes the sharing of reports, statistics, and relevant information between the two entities.

This partnership is part of KSrelief's continuous endeavor to form alliances with national organizations, harness local expertise, and expand volunteer activities. Such collaborations are pivotal in enhancing the effectiveness of humanitarian and relief programs, aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
