KSGAAL Unveils Third Edition of Arabic Program for Non-Arabic-Speaking Medical Workers

Riyadh: The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL), in collaboration with Riyadh Second Health Cluster, has launched the third edition of its Arabic language program specifically designed for non-Arabic-speaking healthcare professionals. This initiative focuses on teaching Arabic for health purposes, aiming to improve communication between healthcare workers and their patients.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the program is structured to equip doctors and nurses with Arabic communication skills through an intensive, hands-on curriculum that spans two months. This initiative is part of a larger effort to provide short-term Arabic language programs tailored to meet professional needs in various sectors.

The curriculum combines classical Arabic with the Saudi dialect and includes cultural activities that help participants integrate into the local community. The program employs a flexible educational model that caters to different learning styles, aiming to improve healthcare workers’ effectiveness in professional settings.

The first edition of the program, launched in 2024, was implemented in four healthcare facilities in Riyadh and benefited over 150 healthcare practitioners. The second edition, which concluded in April, was organized in partnership with Riyadh First Health Cluster and saw participation from 52 healthcare workers.
