Riyadh: The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL), in collaboration with King Abdulaziz University’s Quran Language Endowment, has launched an initiative aimed at training Arabic language experts worldwide. This program is scheduled to run from May 6 to 31 and includes the participation of 25 Arabic language teachers for non-native speakers from 13 different countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, KSGAAL Deputy Secretary-General Ibrahim Abanmi stated during the program’s opening ceremony that this initiative supports global efforts to teach Arabic to non-native speakers. KSGAAL’s goal is to qualify educators with essential teaching competencies and provide them with modern teaching tools. This initiative aims to harness Saudi Arabia’s expertise in the field.

Abanmi highlighted that investing in teachers is fundamental to spreading the language and enhancing its educational outcomes. He praised the collaboration with King Abdulaziz University in executing this program.

The program’s objective is to develop educational leaders in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers. It focuses on building specialized competencies, expanding educational experiences, and connecting participants with advanced practices in Arabic language education within Saudi Arabia.

Through this initiative, KSGAAL seeks to improve the quality of education, allowing participants to apply their acquired knowledge and skills in their respective educational settings.
