KSGAAL Launches Arabic Language Month in India

Riyadh: The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL) launched today the Arabic Language Month Program in two Indian cities, New Delhi and Kerala. The program aims to develop the curriculum for teaching the Arabic language, improve teacher performance, promote the Arabic language, and highlight Saudi Arabia's initiatives in this regard. KSGAAL Secretary General Abdullah Al-Washmi said that the academy, under the guidance of Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, seeks to disseminate the Arabic language locally and globally. The program, he added, aims to train teachers and enhance their skills, improve learners' language proficiency, and showcase KSGAAL's efforts in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers. The program will run until July 26 and feature various activities organized in collaboration with several educational institutions. As part of the program, KSGAAL will organize a competition for Arabic language learners in collaboration with Jawaharlal Nehru University. S ource: Saudi Press Agency
