Riyadh: The Main Hospital Laboratory at King Salman bin Abdulaziz Medical City (KSAMC) has achieved a new milestone by obtaining accreditation from the College of American Pathologists (CAP), one of the world's leading organizations specializing in the quality and accreditation of medical laboratories.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this achievement follows the laboratory's successful completion of a comprehensive and rigorous evaluation conducted by a team of inspectors and experts from CAP. The assessment included a review of operational systems, quality procedures, staff competency, and laboratory result accuracy, as well as verification of the implementation of global best practices in safety, risk management, and quality control.

This accreditation reflects KSAMC's ongoing commitment to advancing its diagnostic services in accordance with the highest international standards, contributing to enhanced patient safety, improved reliability of laboratory results, and evidence-based medical decision-making.
