Riyadh:The Republic of Korea has expressed its support for Saudi Arabia in light of recent deadly attacks by Houthi rebels against civilian facilities in the Kingdom. Korea is calling for an immediate stop to these actions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement condemning the attacks, which included targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. The ministry stated that attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure are totally unacceptable and urged for an immediate halt to these hostilities.
The statement also highlighted the importance of peace and stability in the Middle East to the international community, including Korea, due to implications for global supply chains and energy security. The ministry offered sincere condolences to the families of the victims.
