Riyadh: The annual conference of King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KKESH and RC 2025 International Conference) concluded on Saturday. Held in Riyadh from December 11 to 13, the conference brought together a distinguished group of ophthalmology experts and specialists from within the Kingdom and abroad.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the conference is considered one of the most important specialized medical gatherings in the region. This year, it hosted 96 Saudi speakers and 15 international speakers, comprising leading ophthalmologists and eye surgeons from around the world, who discussed the latest scientific and technological developments in ophthalmology and eye surgery.
This year’s edition of the conference focused on recent advances in several specialized fields, including the cornea, anterior segment, retinal and vitreous surgery, medical retina, uveitis, glaucoma, pediatric ophthalmology, and oculoplastic surgery. The scientific program included specialized lectures, training workshops, and in-depth discussions that reviewed the latest therapeutic approaches and surgical techniques.
The organizing committee emphasized that the conference provided a prominent scientific platform for specialists to exchange expertise and an important opportunity to explore the latest medical innovations, contributing to the advancement of healthcare practices and the enhancement of patient care quality.
