Riyadh: King Saud University organized the Saudi International Conference for Pharmaceutical Research and Innovation (MSIR), along with its accompanying exhibition, with the participation of numerous specialists and researchers from within the Kingdom and abroad.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the two-day conference, organized by the College of Pharmacy, aims to advance pharmaceutical research by highlighting the latest tools and technologies, and by enabling researchers to showcase their achievements in a dynamic scientific environment. Through its scientific sessions and workshops, the conference also seeks to spotlight the College of Pharmacy’s research excellence, steer scientific inquiry toward future national priorities, and explore the evolving role of the pharmacy profession in the era of artificial intelligence.
Additionally, the conference promotes national pharmaceutical research in support of Saudi Vision 2030 and examines innovative applications such as 3D printing in pharmacology.
MSIR serves as a premier platform for fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and strengthening academic and industrial partnerships. The event also focuses on developing professional and research skills through interactive activities designed to enhance students’ and researchers’ communication and teamwork abilities.
