Riyadh: King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority is participating in the national Environment Week 2025 to underscore its key achievements, which include planting over three million seedlings, dispersing more than 4 tons of native seeds, rehabilitating 700,000 hectares of land, reintroducing over 1,455 animals, and recording 177 new wildlife births, including endangered species like the sand gazelle, Arabian oryx, and mountain ibex.
According to Saudi Press Agency, through its pavilion at the event’s accompanying exhibition, the authority is showcasing the reserve’s rich biodiversity, which is home to over 350 wildlife species and 290 bird species. The pavilion also highlights the authority’s endeavors to protect the environment, enhance the sustainability of natural ecosystems, and promote awareness and community engagement in protecting the Kingdom’s natural resources.
