Lebanon: The King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority has deployed specialized field teams to participate in the International Waterbird Census, as part of the authority's mission to protect biodiversity and preserve the reserve's vital ecosystems. Field teams are identifying strategic gathering points to enumerate bird species and assess the health of their natural habitats. The data collected will be used to develop evidence-based protection strategies, ensuring the reserve remains a safe haven for migratory birds along their global flight paths.
