Riyadh: The King Salman Park Foundation and Huawei Tech Investment Saudi Arabia Limited have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the sidelines of LEAP 2026. The agreement focuses on strategic cooperation to enhance smart city capabilities within King Salman Park and advance artificial intelligence (AI) and technological innovation.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the collaboration supports King Salman Park's goal to become a smart, interactive, and continuously evolving urban destination in the heart of Riyadh. The integration of technology aims to enhance experiences for visitors, residents, and employees, while also promoting smarter, more efficient, and sustainable operations.

Aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, the two-year MoU sets a framework for the foundation and Huawei to explore advanced digital capabilities and emerging technologies to support the park's ongoing development. The areas of cooperation include AI and innovation, smart city platforms, digital infrastructure, smart operations, talent development, and sustainability.
