King Salman Park Completes Operations and Maintenance Building

Riyadh: King Salman Park announced the completion of its operations and maintenance building, a key operational facility within the project. Designed to serve as the park's operational hub and management center for its various systems, the building will ensure continuous operations and enhance service efficiency in accordance with the highest technical and environmental standards.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the building forms part of the park's advanced infrastructure. King Salman Park, one of the world's largest urban parks, spans more than 17.2 square kilometers and includes integrated cultural, recreational, sports, commercial, and residential facilities.

Covering an area of more than 35,000 square meters, the operations and maintenance building features a hybrid design that integrates advanced operational solutions, engineering excellence, and environmental sustainability principles. It includes a state-of-the-art data center that serves as the park's digital hub, in addition to four specialized control rooms responsible for managing security, events, transportation, and environmental systems, ensuring highly efficient operations and uninterrupted business continuity.

The building also houses offices accommodating more than 350 employees from the operations and maintenance teams, workshops covering over 1,700 square meters, and a warehouse and logistics center spanning more than 2,200 square meters.

The facility reflects the park's commitment to developing smart and sustainable operational infrastructure by integrating advanced technological systems with environmentally conscious design features. These include green roofs and open spaces that blend with the park's natural landscape and enhance the visitor experience.

The building further supports the project's future operational readiness through approximately 4,000 square meters of flexible and adaptable space designed to accommodate future growth and expansion requirements, while enhancing the efficient management of one of Riyadh's most prominent urban development projects.
