Riyadh: The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language, in cooperation with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen, and the King Salman Foundation, launched the "Development Terminology Dictionary" to unify terminology references in the fields of development, reconstruction, relief, and humanitarian work, and enhance the efficiency of knowledge communication among relevant entities.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the dictionary targets professionals working in development, reconstruction, relief, humanitarian and development work, as well as government entities, nonprofit organizations, and international and regional organizations involved in sustainable development. It aims to promote the standardization of concepts and terminology and support the development of specialized Arabic content serving practitioners, researchers, and decision-makers.

The dictionary is available on the "Siwar" platform for linguistic lexicons, established and supervised by the academy. The platform contains more than 38 specialized lexicons covering various fields and is continuously updated to enrich Arabic linguistic content.
