King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Hosts Catwalk Event to Highlight Endangered Felines

Al-Jouf: The King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority is organizing the global Catwalk 2025 initiative in the regions of Al-Jouf and Hail today. The event aims to raise awareness about the importance of preserving wild cats in their natural habitats while promoting physical activity among participants.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Catwalk initiative is an annual campaign emphasizing wildlife conservation. It encourages members of the community to engage in walking activities, covering distances of up to 7 kilometers. This year’s event is designed to draw attention to the pressing need for the conservation of endangered feline species.

The event will feature various attractions including a pavilion for the reserve, interactive activities, an Arabian leopard pavilion, a walking track, and an awareness corner dedicated to endangered cats. There will also be a designated area for children, making it a family-friendly event.

By participating in this initiative, individuals contribute to promoting a healthy lifestyle and increasing understanding of the importance of safeguarding endangered feline species, such as the tiger, lion, leopard, jaguar, and mountain lion.
