King Abdullah Medical City in Makkah Dispenses over 850,000 Prescriptions, Expands Home Delivery

Makkah: The pharmaceutical services department at King Abdullah Medical City (KAMC) in Makkah, part of the Makkah Health Cluster, has dispensed over 851,634 prescriptions to patients in the first half of 2025.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in addition to direct dispensing, KAMC also processed more than 35,515 postal shipments through its free home delivery service for outpatients during the same period. This initiative reflects KAMC’s commitment to community safety and patient convenience, providing health and treatment services via electronic channels to reduce the need for hospital visits and ease the burden of travel for medication access.
