Riyadh: In implementation of the directive of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who is the Supreme Commander of All Military Forces, Chairman of the General Staff General Fayyad Al-Ruwaili decorated Pakistan’s Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad, with the King Abdulaziz Medal (First Class) in Riyadh. The honor recognizes his distinguished efforts to strengthen friendship, promote cooperation, and advance Saudi-Pakistani relations.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the decoration took place during a meeting on Saturday between the two sides, during which they reviewed aspects of defense and military cooperation, discussed ways to enhance further and develop them, and addressed several issues of mutual interest. Several senior officers and officials from both sides attended the meeting and decoration ceremony.
