Kidana: Kidana Development Company, the executive arm of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites, announced new phases of development projects in the holy sites as part of its early preparations for the 1447 AH Hajj season.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative aims to enhance the pilgrim experience by creating a more welcoming environment that improves comfort and safety during the rituals. The projects include upgrading 850 square meters along King Abdulaziz Road and redeveloping 50,900 square meters of pilgrim gathering areas in Muzdalifah with modern walkways, shaded spaces, seating areas, and integrated facilities. Advanced cooling and shading systems will also be introduced to accommodate large crowds during peak periods.
The project reflects Kidana's strategy to combine operational excellence with enhanced services, in line with Saudi Vision 2030's goals to enrich the pilgrims' experience and deliver high standards of quality and sustainability.
