Mina: Kidana Development Company, the executive arm of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites, announced the completion of a project to replace electrical panels in the main and secondary tents in Mina. According to Saudi Press Agency, the project is part of a package of development initiatives for the 1447 AH Hajj season. It aims to modernize the electrical infrastructure to ensure the highest levels of reliability and safety in serving pilgrims. The project included the installation of 298 advanced electrical panels implemented in two phases to ensure continuous operational readiness. The first phase included installing 228 panels, while the second phase added 70 more. The panels were designed according to precise engineering specifications that consider the high operational demands within the Holy Sites and support the stability of electrical loads during peak periods. The project aims to improve operational and maintenance efficiency, reduce the likelihood of outages, and enhance power dis tribution to minimize electrical losses while ensuring a stable, uninterrupted electricity supply. The project also contributes to providing sufficient electrical capacity to operate lighting systems and electrical appliances in the tents, positively impacting the pilgrims' experience and improving the quality of the residential environment in the Holy Sites.
