Kenyan President Receives Saudi Investment Minister

President of the Republic of Kenya William Ruto received yesterday the Saudi Minister of Investment, Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, and the accompanying delegation at the presidential palace in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.

During the meeting, on the sidelines of the Kenya-Saudi Arabia Business Forum, Al-Falih conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the Kenyan people and government.

The two sides discussed bilateral relations between their countries, areas of cooperation, and ways of enhancing them in investment.

The Kenyan-Saudi Business Forum was held in the presence of Minister Al-Falih, Kenyan Trade and Investments Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria, government officials, and representatives from the public and private sectors in the two countries.

The forum discussed several issues related to enhancing cooperation and integration about aspects of mutual interest between the Kingdom and Kenya. It stressed the need for strengthening joint economic relations in the banking, construction, energy, hospitality, agriculture, and technology sectors.

Moreover, participants at the forum discussed bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries in investments and ways to develop these relations in various fields.

The enhancement of investment cooperation aims to serve the two countries shared interests in the economic fields and investment development in light of both countries' promising opportunities.
