Hail: King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE) participated in the IEEE 2025 Global Conference on Sustainable Energy and Net-Zero Emissions (SENZE’25), which was organized by the University of Hail, represented by its College of Engineering, from October 28 to 29. The conference involved leading national and international entities specializing in energy and innovation.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the conference aimed to showcase the latest technologies and initiatives that support efforts to achieve carbon neutrality and transition energy sources toward a sustainable future. This objective aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 for clean energy.

Head of the Renewable Energy Technology Development and Innovation Sector at KACARE, Eng. Hamad Mudij, participated in a panel discussion addressing decarbonization in urban systems related to buildings and mobility. During this session, he highlighted KACARE’s efforts to develop and localize renewable energy technologies. He underscored the importance of research and technical collaboration to accelerate transformation and achieve sustainability and net-zero targets.

KACARE’s participation in the conference is part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen its presence in specialized scientific events and support research and innovation in sustainable energy. This contributes to building a low-emission future and reinforces its role as a national enabler in achieving the Kingdom’s atomic and renewable energy objectives.
