Riyadh: The Jump Saudi championship has solidified its position as one of the most important global stops in the sport of show jumping, particularly as it has become an officially recognized round within the FEI Jumping World Cup Arab League, qualifying for the FEI World Cup Finals 2026 in Jumping and Dressage. This follows the completion of five editions organized by the Saudi Arabian Equestrian Federation at the Jump Saudi Arena in Al Janadryah, Riyadh.
According to Saudi Press Agency, since its inaugural edition in 2021, Jump Saudi has raised its competition level to the five-star category, the highest ranking in the F©d©ration ‚¬°questre Internationale (FEI) classifications. It has become a key stop on the qualifying path to the FEI World Cup Finals in Jumping and Dressage.
Over five editions, Jump Saudi has transformed equestrian sport from its traditional framework into a comprehensive sporting and economic industry. It has become a five-star international platform adhering to the highest FEI standards, offering young Saudi riders the opportunity to compete alongside top-ranked world champions.
Moreover, its points directly contribute to qualification for the World Cup Finals, making each round a major technical contest. Today, the Jump Saudi Arena is ranked among the best in the Middle East in terms of specially designed footing that protects the world’s most valuable horses, as well as its logistical facilities, including air-conditioned stables and warm-up areas comparable to prestigious European arenas.
Managed by young Saudi staff, the arena demonstrates Saudi Arabia’s ability to organize international events with exceptional efficiency, as confirmed by the international riders who have participated in its successive editions. The current fifth edition set an exceptional record in Jump Saudi’s history, with the number of participants rising from 121 riders in the first edition to 193 riders in the final week, attracting competitors from over 30 countries across its five editions.
