Amman: The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan said that it is closely monitoring developments in the Republic of Yemen, stressing its support for all efforts aimed at de-escalation, ensuring Yemen's security and stability, respecting its sovereignty, and fulfilling the aspirations of its people.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in a statement issued today by Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Fuad Al-Majali, Jordan expressed appreciation for the commitment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to Yemen's security, stability, and sovereignty, as well as for their approach to the current situation in Yemen and their handling of all issues based on foundations that guarantee its security and stability and meet the aspirations of its people.

Jordan also highly commended the wisdom of the leadership of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in addressing the situation in Yemen, and their approach that reflects their historical positions and sincere efforts toward Yemen, regional security and interests, and the promotion of the values of brotherhood, partnership, unity, and Arab solidarity.

Al-Majali emphasized Jordan's firm position in supporting Yemen's legitimate government and all efforts aimed at reaching a comprehensive political solution that ensures a secure and stable future for the Republic of Yemen, fulfills the aspirations of the Yemeni people, safeguards the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and enhances overall security and stability.
