Jeddah Prepares to Host ‘Khaleeji 27’ Gulf Cup Draw Ceremony Tomorrow

Jeddah: The city of Jeddah is set to host the draw ceremony for the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup 'Khaleeji 27' tomorrow in Historic Jeddah. The event is expected to see wide official, sporting, and media attendance along with strong public anticipation as the competition's pathway will be determined.

According to Saudi Press Agency, with the conclusion of the draw, the countdown will officially begin for the tournament. Scheduled to be hosted by Saudi Arabia from September 23 to October 6, the event will feature national teams from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and Yemen.

The selection of Historic Jeddah as the venue for the draw underscores Saudi Arabia's strategy to integrate cultural and sporting experiences. This follows the recent hosting of the AFC Asian Cup 2027 Draw Ceremony in Diriyah, showcasing the blend of sport and Saudi heritage in international sporting events.
