Jazan Honey Exhibition Draws Massive Crowd, Boosts Local Tourism

Jazan: The Jazan Honey Exhibition, a centerpiece of this year's festival, attracted over 40,000 visitors during its 16-day run, generating more than SAR2 million in revenue through the sale of six tons of honey.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event featured 60 beekeepers showcasing 15 high-quality local varieties, successfully promoting the region's renowned products while offering training seminars for producers and family-friendly entertainment.

Executive Director Sulaiman Al-Ghazwani highlighted that the exhibition achieved its goals of building consumer trust and expanding marketing opportunities for the sector in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

Beyond commerce, the festival showcased the region's natural resources and vegetation, reinforcing Jazan's status as a premier destination for sustainable apiculture and tourism.
