Jazan: The Jazan Beekeepers Association is participating in the Jazan Honey Exhibition 2026, currently being held in Al-Edabi Governorate, with the participation of 60 beekeepers and several government and civil entities, highlighting the contribution of the cooperative sector to supporting the beekeeping system and enhancing the local honey industry. According to Saudi Press Agency, the association's participation includes an integrated introductory pavilion showcasing modern honey extraction and sorting equipment, manufacturing and processing tools, and supplies for beekeepers, along with samples of honey products ready for marketing, demonstrating the association's role in supporting both production and marketing stages. The pavilion highlights the association's efforts to support the transition from traditional hives to modern hives by providing the necessary equipment and tools and explaining their mechanisms of use, which contributes to raising production efficiency and improving honey quality in acco rdance with modern scientific methods. It also reviews training programs and development initiatives covering beekeeping fundamentals, production efficiency, and the development of technical and marketing practices in the honey industry. The association said its participation aims to advance beekeepers, develop packaging and labeling methods, and improve marketing processes, in addition to activating the role of families and rural women in beekeeping, raising awareness of the nutritional, therapeutic, and economic value of honey and its products, and contributing to the protection and preservation of beekeeping pastures.
