Japanese Stocks Close Higher as Investor Confidence Grows

Tokyo: Japanese stocks closed higher for a second consecutive day as investors bought undervalued shares and concerns over global oil supplies eased. The Nikkei index rose 1.4% to 55,025.37, after earlier jumping 2.8%, while the TOPIX index closed up 0.9% at 3,698.85.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the positive movement in the Japanese stock market reflects growing investor confidence. The easing of worries regarding global oil supplies has contributed to this optimism, encouraging investors to engage actively in the market by purchasing shares perceived as undervalued.

The performance of the Nikkei index, which saw a substantial increase earlier in the day before settling at a 1.4% gain, alongside the rise in the TOPIX index, indicates a strengthening of market sentiment. Investors are increasingly focusing on opportunities within the Japanese market, bolstered by the current economic conditions and the stabilization of oil supply concerns.
