Riyadh: FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves continued to dominate the spotlight at the Esports World Cup (EWC 2025) currently underway in Riyadh, as Japanese player GO1 from DetonatioN FocusMe secured a spot in the final after defeating Team Falcons’ representative, MOK, in the semifinal held on Saturday.

According to Saudi Press Agency, GO1 will face Chinese star XIAOHAI from Kuaishou Gaming in the final. XIAOHAI, who previously claimed the Street Fighter 6 title in last year’s edition of the championship, is considered one of Asia’s top fighting game players.

The highly anticipated match-up brings together two of the continent’s leading competitors, highlighting the intense international rivalry and high level of professionalism at the second edition of the Esports World Cup, currently being held in Riyadh and featuring elite players from around the world.
