Istisqa Prayer Performed at the Grand Mosque in Makkah

Makkah: Worshippers at the Grand Mosque in Makkah performed the Istisqa (rain-seeking) prayer today, with Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz in attendance.

According to Saudi Press Agency, after leading the prayer, Imam and Khatib of the Grand Mosque Sheikh Dr. Yasser Al-Dosari delivered a sermon urging Muslims to fear Allah, combine hope with awe, and be persistent in supplication. He emphasized that piety expands sustenance, lengthens lifespans, and brings blessings of rain and harvest.
