Algiers: Chairman of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group Muhammad Al Jasser met with Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Energy, Mines, and Renewable Energies Mohamed Arkab during his official visit to Algeria.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions centered on enhancing cooperation, particularly in the area of energy transition projects and initiatives aimed at regional integration. The meeting underscored the mutual interest in advancing efforts to bolster energy security and promote sustainable development in the region.

Al Jasser expressed the IsDB’s commitment to providing both financial and insurance support for Algeria’s energy transition endeavors. This support is aimed at facilitating Algeria’s goals of achieving sustainable energy solutions and strengthening its energy security framework, aligning with broader regional objectives.
