Islamic Affairs Ministry Organizes Scholarly Course for Preachers and Imams in Indonesia

Lombok: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance is organizing a specialized scholarly course for preachers, imams, khatibs, and students on Lombok Island in Indonesia, in cooperation with the Religious Attach at the Saudi Embassy in Jakarta and the Abu Hurairah Islamic School.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the five-day course hosts 172 participants, including preachers and students, as part of the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to promote sound values and reinforce the principles of moderation and balance. The program focuses on strengthening Islamic concepts, encouraging moderate approaches to interpreting religious texts, and supporting scholarly and dawah cooperation with religious institutions in Indonesia.

Over the past three years, the ministry has implemented 26 scholarly courses in Indonesia, benefiting thousands of preachers and students, enhancing scholarly and dawah presence, and promoting the values of moderation and balance within Indonesian society.
