Makkah: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has installed 500 smart boards across major mosques and those in Makkah's central area to improve guidance services for pilgrims. This initiative is part of the ministry's ongoing efforts to incorporate modern technology in assisting pilgrims and Umrah performers during the 1447 AH Hajj season.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the smart boards are designed to guide pilgrims and Umrah performers by providing guidance books in multiple languages. Additionally, they offer access to Hajj-related digital applications and the ministry's official communication platforms, ensuring easy access to reliable religious and guidance information.
This initiative aligns with the digital transformation goals and aims to enhance the quality of the guidance experience within mosques. It also supports the ministry's efforts to improve services during the Hajj season, meeting the needs of pilgrims and Umrah performers from different nationalities and cultural backgrounds.
