Nouakchott: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, through the Religious Attach© at the Kingdom’s Embassy in Mauritania, hosted an iftar banquet in Nouakchott on the seventh day of Ramadan 1446 AH. This initiative is part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ program for serving iftar to fasting individuals.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the event was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Mauritania Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Raqabi, Religious Attach© Sheikh Dr. Fhaid Al-Ruwais, Secretary-General of Mauritania’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs Dr. Beitallah Ould Ahmed Lasoud, and other officials.
The Ramadan iftar program in Mauritania will continue throughout the month, benefiting approximately 6,000 people across the country. This initiative reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting Muslims worldwide and fostering Islamic solidarity during the blessed month.
