Riyadh: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs is actively implementing the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ iftar and date distribution initiatives across India and its neighboring countries during Ramadan.

According to Saudi Press Agency, by the midpoint of Ramadan, the program had reached approximately 75,000 fasting individuals through iftar meals and over 100,000 vulnerable recipients with date distributions. These efforts are primarily aimed at the poor and disadvantaged communities.

The initiative is executed through organized group iftar banquets, meticulously coordinated with Saudi embassies in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives. The program also collaborates with more than 100 registered charitable organizations and prominent figures within these regions to ensure effective distribution and outreach.
