Islamic Affairs Minister Reviews Hajj Operational Plans at Supreme Committee Meeting

Riyadh: Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh chaired a meeting of the ministry's supreme committee for Hajj, Umrah, and visitation to review operational plans and early preparations for the 1447 AH Hajj season. The meeting, held at the minister's office, saw the attendance of committee members, including the ministry's undersecretaries and department directors.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting assessed readiness levels across various services and Dawah tracks to ensure the delivery of integrated services to Hajj pilgrims in line with the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Discussions covered several key areas, such as awareness and guidance programs, plans for distributing copies of the Quran and scholarly publications, and the implementation of field-based Dawah initiatives. The readiness of mosques in the holy sites and preparations to receive pilgrims were also addressed to ensure they can perform their rituals with ease and tranquility.

Additionally, the minister reviewed performance reports from previous Hajj seasons, insights gained, and the key targeted improvement indicators. He stressed the importance of integration across the ministry's sectors and enhanced coordination with relevant entities to meet the Kingdom's leadership directives aimed at advancing services for pilgrims.

The minister emphasized that the leadership's continued commitment to serving Hajj pilgrims and Umrah performers reflects a firmly established approach, evident in the ongoing development and integration of services year after year. He called for doubled efforts, strengthened operational readiness, and the full mobilization of resources to serve Hajj pilgrims.
