Jeddah: Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh today received Montenegrin Grand Mufti and head of the Islamic community, Sheikh Rifat Fejzic, and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, the two officials explored ways to strengthen cooperation between the ministry and the Islamic community following the memorandum of understanding signed between the two countries in Islamic affairs.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Alsheikh underscored the Saudi leadership’s keenness on promoting the principles of moderate Islam based on tolerance, love, and peace, as well as serving Muslim causes around the world. He also commended the joint achievements realized in Montenegro, including the construction of mosques and the expansion of Dawah cooperation.
Fejzic emphasized that Saudi Arabia represents the spiritual center of Muslims and holds a special place among the Muslim community in Montenegro. He noted that cooperation with the ministry has contributed to supporting Dawah activities, promoting the noble values of Islam, building mosques, and organizing educational and Dawah programs that spread the message of moderation and foster a culture of tolerance.
