Islamic Affairs Minister Affirms Full Readiness of Hajj Projects in Makkah and Madinah

Makkah: Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Abdullatif Al Alsheikh inspected mosques at the holy sites to ensure their readiness for the 1447 AH Hajj season, affirming that all maintenance, cooling, and safety projects have been completed to the highest standards under the directives of the Kingdom's leadership.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry has prepared over 20,000 mosques and prayer halls across Makkah, Madinah, and transit routes. To support the spiritual needs of pilgrims, more than 160,000 outreach activities have been approved, involving 1,822 scholars and 220 translators. Additionally, the ministry is distributing over 1.4 million educational materials in 27 languages and nearly two million copies of the Holy Quran, including translations in over 80 languages.

The inspection also highlighted the integration of modern technology, such as applications, 3D educational tools, and interactive digital libraries. These resources, alongside 24-hour video communication services and electronic awareness booths, aim to provide comprehensive, multilingual guidance to pilgrims throughout their journey.
