IsDB Board of Governors Renews Confidence in Al-Jasser for Another Five-Year Term

Baku: The Board of Governors of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), representing its 57 member countries, has re-elected Dr. Mohammed Al-Jasser as President of the IsDB and Chairman of the IsDB Group for a new five-year term. This decision was made during the plenary session of the 2026 IsDB Group Annual Meetings held in Baku.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the re-election reflects the board's confidence in Dr. Al-Jasser's leadership and the progress achieved by the IsDB Group in recent years. Dr. Al-Jasser, who has been in his position since 2021, has led a comprehensive reform program aimed at enhancing the group's performance, financial standing, and developmental impact across all member countries.
