Ankara: The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and Trkiye have formalized two significant financing agreements valued at approximately $740 million. These agreements aim to bolster Trkiye’s recovery efforts by investing in disaster-resilient healthcare infrastructure and promoting green, resilient, and inclusive educational advancements. The agreements were officially signed in Ankara, Trkiye’s capital.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the IsDB Group has, over the past five decades, directed more than $14.7 billion towards development finance projects in Trkiye. This funding has been allocated across 587 projects, spanning key sectors such as healthcare, renewable energy, education, and modern transportation.

These new financing agreements represent a continuation of the enduring development partnership between Trkiye and the IsDB Group. They are in alignment with the framework of this partnership and support Trkiye’s Twelfth Development Plan for the period 2024-2026.
