The US Energy Information Administration announced today, Saturday, that Iraqi oil exports to America decreased to 199 thousand barrels during the past week.

The administration said in its weekly report: "The average US imports of crude oil during the past week from eight countries amounted to 5 million and 837 thousand barrels per day, up by 1.197 million barrels per day from the previous week, which amounted to 4.640 million barrels."

It added, "America imported crude oil from Iraq at a rate of 199 thousand barrels per day, while it imported 235 thousand barrels in the previous week."

It pointed out that "most of America's oil imports during the past week came from Canada at a rate of 3.806 million barrels per day, followed by Mexico, whose imports amounted to 692 thousand barrels per day, followed by Saudi Arabia, whose imports amounted to 424 thousand barrels per day, then Colombia at a rate of 325 thousand barrels per day. "

According to the administration, "the amount of US imports of crude oil from Russia amounted to 238 thousand barrels per day, followed by Ecuador, whose imports amounted to 80 thousand barrels per day, and Nigeria at a rate of 73 thousand barrels per day."
