IOC Awards Taekwondo Athlete Dunya Abu Talib Equality, Diversity, Inclusion Award

Riyadh: The International Olympic Committee (IOC) awarded Saudi Taekwondo athlete Dunya Abu Talib the 2024 Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Award for Asia during a ceremony held today in Brunei Darussalam.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Dunya Abu Talib is the first Saudi woman to qualify for the Olympics and win an Asian gold medal. She was recognized for her efforts in empowering female athletes and promoting gender equality in sports at both local and international levels.
