International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition Sees Large Turnout

The International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition, organized by the Saudi Falcons Club at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north of Riyadh, is dedicating a special section for traditional crafts called “Weaving Heritage,” featuring the participation of a number of Saudi craftsmen and craftswomen.

In the Weaving Heritage section, which has seen a large turnout of visitors, the craftsmen and women present traditional products and famous traditional and popular professions in the Kingdom, live in front of the audience, showcasing local heritage crafts, with explanations and introductions of prominent local products that represent the country’s heritage and national identity, including weaving traditional textiles, crafting accessories and handmade items, embroidery, Sadu weaving, palm frond crafts, and carving.

The Kingdom’s craftspeople showcase a part of Saudi heritage through traditional handmade products, attracting many visitors interested in the Kingdom’s diverse cultural heri
tage. The exhibition represents several regions of the Kingdom, featuring crafts like Sadu weaving, embroidery, palm frond crafts, leatherwork, gypsum artifacts, prayer beads, gemstones, textile production, carving, heritage engravings, applied visual arts, and artistic sculptures, among others.
