Riyadh: The Kingdom has advanced women’s rights with robust laws, including the Law of Protection from Abuse and the Anti-Harassment Law, while the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development supports women by handling reports through the Family Protection Center and providing shelters, counseling, and social assistance.

According to Saudi Press Agency, on November 25 each year, the world observes the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women to raise awareness about the dangers of gender-based violence and strengthen efforts to protect and empower women.

The Human Rights Commission and the National Family Safety Program are leading training, awareness, and media initiatives to encourage the reporting of violence and provide comprehensive support to victims.
