Interior Ministry Unveils Commemorative Stamp for BIE Flag Handover to Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: The Ministry of Interior, through the General Directorate of Passports and in collaboration with Expo 2030 Riyadh Company (ERC), has introduced a commemorative stamp. This stamp celebrates the handover of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) flag to Saudi Arabia, marking the nation’s role as host for Expo 2030. The global event is scheduled to take place in Riyadh from October 1, 2030, to March 31, 2031.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the commemorative stamp will be available for travelers arriving in Saudi Arabia. Visitors entering through King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh will have the opportunity to receive this special stamp in their passports. This initiative aims to commemorate the country’s significant achievement in securing the hosting rights for the prestigious international exposition.
