Riyadh: Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz will attend today’s opening ceremony of the World Championship in Fire and Rescue Sport, hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from October 26 to November 1.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the event is organized by the Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Civil Defense, in partnership with the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers (ISFFR), at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Sports Complex in Riyadh.
Twenty-two ISFFR member states are participating in the championship, with more than 300 competitors taking part in four events: the 100-meter hurdles race, the 400-meter relay, hook ladder climbing, and the firefighting contest.
