Makkah: Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz held a high-level meeting yesterday at the ministry's headquarters in Makkah, during which he conveyed the greetings and congratulations of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to all personnel across the ministries of interior, national guard, and defense, the Presidency of State Security, and the General Intelligence Presidency, celebrating Eid Al-Adha and the widespread success of the 1447 AH Hajj security operation.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Prince Abdulaziz affirmed that this year's security and organizational blueprints achieved absolute success across all metrics, backed by the comprehensive deployment of Saudi Arabia's human, infrastructural, and technological resources. He stressed that serving the Two Holy Mosques remains a definitive national priority rooted in the state's 300-year history, pointing out that qualitative seasonal upgrades directly support the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The minister praised the high professionalism and integrated synergy demonstrated by all military and civilian field units, while thanking international pilgrims and Hajj missions for their disciplined adherence to regulations. He concluded by directing the immediate launch of proactive preparations for the upcoming 1448 AH season.
During the meeting, Director of Public Security and Chairman of the Hajj Security Committee Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Bassami delivered an address outlining how unified operational planning and the pivotal monitoring role of the Hajj Security Operations Center effectively maintained the safety and tranquility of the millions of worshippers throughout their Hajj journey.
