Interactive Murals Engage Visitors at Taif Writers and Readers Festival

Taif: The 'interactive murals' event at the Taif Writers and Readers Festival captured visitors' attention through openwork art panels that allowed them to directly engage in coloring and shaping the city's features and identity.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the murals explored a range of themes, showcasing Taif's natural and historical landmarks such as Al-Hada Mountain, the Taif rose gardens, and traditional Hijazi palaces. Other works were inspired by Souk Okaz, a historic literary and commercial center closely associated with the heritage of poetry, reflecting the region's rich cultural legacy.

Designed by a visual artist, the murals combined folk-inspired elements with imaginative visual expression, creating a collaborative artistic experience that highlights the beauty of the city and brings art closer to the public.
