Innovative Student Projects Take Center Stage at Ibdaa 2026 Expo in Madinah

Madinah: The central exhibition of the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity (Ibdaa) 2026 in Madinah served as a platform to showcase innovative ideas and scientific projects by male and female students from across the Kingdom in various scientific fields.

According to Saudi Press Agency, student Iman Al Guraib presented a scientific project in the field of tumor diagnosis. Another participant, Ehab Al-Anazi, introduced his project on developing bifunctional catalysts for producing green hydrogen through the electro-oxidation of ammonia using low-cost materials. He noted that his project addresses two major global challenges: rising environmental threats and growing demand for clean energy sources.

The exhibition, part of the Ibdaa 2026 program, features 104 innovative scientific projects representing seven education departments.
