Industry Ministry Ramps Up Factory Inspections in Makkah Ahead of Hajj

Makkah: The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources has conducted over 100 field visits to industrial facilities in the Makkah Region to assess their readiness for the 1446 AH Hajj season. The visits aimed to monitor the stability of supply chains and ensure the availability of food and consumer products to meet the needs of the pilgrims.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the inspections focused on verifying that factories comply with approved quality standards and regulations. The ministry is ensuring the continuity of production lines for essential goods, including water and food products, to maintain the smooth flow of consumer goods in response to the heightened demand during the Hajj season.
